Summary

Once again, I’m working at something in the reading space. After Junkmail and Suite Books, I’ve focused on building something for a niche user and something that they’ll need to use every day.

So Agora is a place to read, and actually understand, the classics. The app has the books available to read for free and end of chapter questions to discuss with anyone who is reading the book. The premium version of the book has a philosophy professor’s notes integrated into the text.

I’m also building a reading AI agent into the product so it can understand your reading personality based on the books you read and the answers to questions. Knowing this, it will give you better recommendations and areas of books to focus on to challenge your thinking.

This is in early stages and at this stage, I don’t see it as venture backable, but a niche business I can run profitably.

I’m building it using various AI tools and documenting lessons on how I build it and my thinking on the product at Building Agora.
